The Elephant Public House The Elephant Public House in the historic centre of Bristol is, in spite of its name, also a very convincing restaurant serving good, classic British cuisine in a comfortable and stylish dining room. And The Elephant has been named Pub of the Year by Miller Brands, makers of the iconic Peroni beer. There’s been an elephant-themed pub on this site since the 17th century. The current incarnation was built in the 1850’s and refurbished with panache for modern drinkers and diners.
