We have a beautifully unique venue in the centre of Bristol. The venue is perfect for: meetings, conferences, any sort of parties such as staff, Christmas, birthdays, graduation, wedding reception, performances, music events, filming and dinners. Only your imagination can set the boundaries.
Averys has had a shop in Bristol since 1793. Today, you’ll find us at 9 Culver Street, a stone’s throw from our original premises on Park Street. But with the shop there comes a beautiful, historic wine cellar, which used to be home for sherry and wine bottling. Nowadays we organise regular wine tastings each month, also host private events designed by our clients’ personal ideas.
We regularly host wine tasting evenings for corporate clients, wine societies or social groups. The historic vaulted cellar in the heart of Bristol creates the perfect atmosphere for an engaging and informative event hosted by one of our wine experts.
The cellars accommodate groups of 25-70 people in an exclusive setting. The space is available for private wine tasting events and day hire. We offer a number of different tasting packages that can be tailored specifically for your group. Our cellars are available to you and your guests from as little as £30 per person. No matter what type of tasting you choose, there will be a minimum of 8 different wines with a selection of bread, cheese and pate (All tastings are £30 per person and inclusive of VAT, based a minimum of 25 people. Prices for smaller groups are available on request but you can also enquiry for upgrades).
From tutored tasting to themed evenings and wine challenges, our team of dedicated wine lovers will choose from a selection of over 1000 different wines, making each tasting unique to you.
Or if you were planning your own function and just need a space you can also hire the venue where you can accommodate parties, dinners, wine tastings, product launches, performances, corporate meetings, wedding receptions, drinks receptions, exhibitions, film screening and even film shoot. The day rates starts from as little as £400 (inc VAT) and available from 10am-11pm.
