MW Funeral Directors are a family-run and independent funeral directors based in Earthcott Green, near Thornbury and Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol. We provide funeral directing services to families in Bristol, South Gloucester and further afield.
Our funeral directors understand the stresses involved when preparing for a funeral which is why, no matter what your faith or non-faith, they will be there to advise and support you. As an independent company we can provide a very personal service to bereaved families.
Our personal service begins when we assign a funeral director to your family. This means one point of contact to help and advise on the certificates required and the authorities that should be informed. Your funeral director will also help book the church (if required), arrange transportation of the body into our care before burial or cremation, to liaise with the cemetery or crematorium and conduct the funeral itself.
You will have as much time as you need with the funeral director and you will liaise with the same person throughout the planning process. We know from experience that building a trusting relationship between family and funeral director will deliver a funeral that best befits the departed. On the day of the funeral they are dedicated to you alone: each directs only one funeral per day.
As independent funeral directors we plan and direct funerals for people of all faiths and beliefs or none, and organise humanist, natural and green burials.
