Senior Support Worker (Communicator Guide)

We are looking for reliable and motivated people to join our professional team of Senior Support Workers (Communicator Guides) in Bristol, Wiltshire or Somerset. We have several Bank/ Casual opportunities, to work within a community setting. We are looking for people to join our team of adaptable and motivated individuals with great communication skills to help make a difference to the lives of the people we support.

The support you be provide may in someone’s home, their local community or work setting and personal care may be required. Our Senior Support Workers (Communicator Guides) offer guiding skills, practical help and communication support to people with acquired deafblindness – such as helping with shopping, dealing with mail, accessing social and leisure activities – to enable deafblind people to continue to live as independently as possible and decrease isolation.

You must be able to work flexible hours to suit the service requirements and have the ability to work on your own initiative.

A full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle is an essential requirement for this role.
