Clinical Lead Nurse
An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a committed Clinical Lead to work in an exceptional care home based in the Nailsea, Bristol area. As the Clinical Lead you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers
This care home provides the very highest care standards to their residents and tenants 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A GP visits regularly and we have excellent links with community healthcare
As the Clinical Lead your key responsibilities include:
• To assist the Service Manager in providing leadership to staff in order to deliver the highest possible quality of care within a safe working and living environment
• To lead the nursing teams to provide high quality, person centred care and support in way which promotes: dignity; privacy; safety and independence and which promotes equality & diversity for everyone living and working in the Service
• To support the Service Manager to manage the effective use of resources, including those which impact on the financial performance of the Service, and maintain high levels of occupancy
• To comply with all regulatory and legislative requirements at all times
• To ensure the smooth and effective running of the transitional unit within the home and liaise with external health professionals
• To provide Clinical Leadership and supervision within the Service
• Will have full accountability for Infection Control implementation and audit throughput the service
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• Be a good role model for all employees, being approachable and providing a regular presence and visibility with all levels of employees
• Good working knowledge of CQC standards
• A proven track record of leading a nursing team in the delivery of person-centred care/ including planning/ implementing and evaluating
• Experience of working with residents with Dementia
The successful Clinical Lead will receive an excellent salary £50,000 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role for 37.5 hours a week working throughout Day Shifts *24 hours per week on the floor as a Nurse*.
